Who We Walk With

We walk with First Nations evaluators, practitioners, researchers, community leaders, emerging professionals and knowledge holders who are committed to culturally grounded evaluation practice.

We also welcome Trusted Allies who share our vision for a more equitable, culturally responsive evaluation sector and are prepared to listen, learn and walk alongside us with humility.

Our community spans different Nations, experiences and areas of expertise, but we are united by a common purpose: to strengthen First Nations leadership in evaluation and create systems that honour Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing.

We walk alongside those who are challenging the status quo, creating innovative approaches, advocating for cultural safety, and opening pathways for future generations of Blak evaluators. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected Network that influences how evaluation is understood, practised and valued across the sector.

We are guided by the wisdom of Elders and the strength of community. We recognise that First Nations peoples have practised forms of evaluation for generations through listening, observing, reflecting and sharing knowledge across families, communities and Country. We welcome Elders and community members to walk alongside us, helping to guide our collective journey and ensuring our work remains grounded in culture, community and accountability to mob.
